Founded in 1969, Unicure was built to solve a real problem, long, natural hair that was difficult to control, prone to frizz, and constantly dry. What started as a solution quickly became a staple. By 1972, Unicure was the #1 selling professional product in Western Canada, expanding across North America shortly after. By 1976, it was the top-selling professional product in the United States.

More than 50 years later, our approach hasn’t changed. We focus on creating products that deliver lasting results, without overcomplicating the process. Because when your hair and skin feel right, everything else follows.

A Note From The President

Welcome, whether you're a longtime customer or you just found us, or a friend told you about that bottle of Unicure they thought could help you, we're glad you're here.

My father, Richard Tucker, started Unicure in the early 1970s after using it and letting beauty professionals test it. This hair conditioner formula out of Denmark turned out to do something nobody expected, it worked just as well on skin. He named it Unicure: "uni" for unisex, "cure" for cure-all. Then he spent the rest of his career proving it.

I grew up inside that story. I've used Unicure since I was five years old. I've worked the manufacturing floor filling bottles and mixing the products. I spent my summers as a teen promoting it to whomever would listen. Over the years I've watched thousands of letters and calls come in, people thanking my father for a product that helped them with their skin or hair issues when nothing else did and they were at their wits end until they used Unicure.

That's the real history of this company - not us, but you. Decades of people telling us it works and telling their friends. So, thank you - for trusting us, for staying with us, and for passing it on.
